Nazareth House

Nazareth House is owned by the Congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth but is managed by Nugent Care. Based in Crosby, Merseyside, Nazareth House has been caring for children and young people for over a century.

Nazareth House is a short stay respite unit for children & young people aged 7-17, all of whom have learning and physical disabilities as well as complex health needs.

The service is commissioned by Sefton MBC and currently has 50 children on a rolling programme of care, with the unit being able to accomodate 6 young people at any one time.

In our last Ofsted inspection (2008), all aspects of the service received an ‘outstanding’ judgement. in the report it is stated:- “Young people are afforded an excellent service which focuses on the individual, to meet their holistic and diverse needs in a way that promotes and maintains privacy and dignity”.

Nazareth House has been a well respected part of the local community for many years and continues to provide a high standard of care for the children who use its services.
