The Garden Project provides a diverse range of horticultural activities for people with learning disabilities at our Lowton site near Warrington in the borough of Wigan. The project operates from Monday to Friday and people can attend morning sessions or afternoon sessions or the whole day with us!
The project has an enviable reputation for the quality of its work and includes activities such as ground maintenance, growing fruit and vegetables, pot plants, contract work (for households and the local authority via our social enterprise) and voluntary/conservation work.
Support for a range of abilities and needs
Whether our service users are able to work safely and independently in a team or need additional support our skilled Support Workers will help people to “learn the ropes” and participate in the activities they want to get involved with.
