Based in Aigburth Liverpool, Geel & Hitchen Court provides day care and long-term nursing care for older people living with Dementia. Support options:

• Long term residential care
Our care is provided in a safe and homely environment, with purpose built accommodation provided on one level for up to 28 residents. Each resident has their own room styled to their taste and personal items.

Residential areas of the home have been styled as a ‘street’ to give service users a sense of coming home, when they retire to their rooms each evening. There are also memory boxes outside of each room so residents can easily identify their own space.

Facilities and areas of interest are signposted with images throughout the Home for ease of recognition by our services users and their visitors who are welcome any time.

• Day Care
We recognise at Geel that Carers and even sometimes the people they are caring for need a break! We offer flexible day care packages that run between 8am and 8pm based on site at the home. The staff at Geel work closely with carers to develop an individualised plan for anyone wishing to access the service.

Dignity in care
The philosophy of Geel and Hitchen Court is to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all, within a warm and caring atmosphere and in so doing be sensitive to all of the residents individual needs ensuring them quality of life.
